Raanan is the founder and Chief Technical Officer at IPV. He also founded Integrated Materials (IMI) and led the design and R&D there.  He managed equipment engineering for Intel Israel and also held Engineering positions with Semitool and ChipExpress.

Raanan received his BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the ORT Institute in the Hebrew University (Jerusalem) and holds more than 20 patents in the area of high-purity silicon processing.
